How to install games on a NumWorks calculator
Installing a game takes about a minute and only needs the USB cable that came with your calculator. Here is everything, step by step.
What you need
- A NumWorks N0110, N0115 or N0120, with a recent version of its software (Epsilon).
- Its USB cable.
- A computer with Chrome or Edge. These browsers can talk to USB devices. Firefox and Safari can’t, and phones can’t send games to a calculator.
Install a game in one click
- Open the game’s page on NumGames, for example NumDash.
- Plug your calculator into the computer with the USB cable.
- Press Install on my calculator. Chrome or Edge shows a window: pick your NumWorks and press Connect.
- Wait a few seconds while the game is written and checked.
- When it says the cartridge is inserted, unplug the cable, press Home on the calculator and open the game with OK.
Install several games
Keep the cable plugged in after the first game and install the next one straight away: the calculator stays connected. Unplug only when you are done. New games are added after the ones already on your calculator, which are not touched.
Install the file by hand
If the one-click install doesn’t work on your computer, the install window also lets you download the game file (a .nwa file). Install it with NumWorks’ own tool on my.numworks.com.
Why did my games disappear?
Installed games live in a separate area of the calculator’s memory. The calculator removes them after some resets, and you can’t open them in exam mode (more about exam mode). Nothing is broken: reinstall them the same way, in one click.

Is it free?
Yes. Every game on NumGames is free. You need a free account to download, and there are no ads on the calculator.
Will installing a game erase my Python scripts?
No. Games are written only to the area for apps. Your scripts, settings and other installed games stay as they are.
Which browsers work?
Chrome and Edge on a computer (Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS). Firefox and Safari can’t talk to USB devices.
Can I install from my phone?
No. Phones can’t send games to a calculator. Open the game’s page on a computer instead.
Does it work on the N0100?
No. NumGames supports the N0110, N0115 and N0120.
The calculator is not found. What do I do?
Use the cable that came with the calculator (some cables only charge), switch the calculator on, close other tabs or programs that use it, and try again.
